Towards the Art: Venda 2026 is a five-day cultural journey through Venda, Limpopo, inviting you to experience art where it is made.
From 23–27 September 2026, travel between artists’ homes and studios, meet Venda masters alongside contemporary artists, experience the Royal Heritage Festival, and discover the food, landscapes and living cultural traditions that shape the art.
The journey remains the same. Only your stay changes.
Accommodation packages include four nights’ accommodation, return transport between Johannesburg and Venda, local transport, catered meals, artist and studio visits, cultural experiences, Royal Heritage Festival access, and admission to the Heritage Weekend Exhibition.
The Community Pass includes the full Heritage Weekend programme with daily local transport, catered lunches, artist and studio visits, cultural experiences, Royal Heritage Festival access, admission to the Heritage Weekend Exhibition, a welcome drink at the exhibition opening, an exhibition catalogue, and an official Heritage Weekend goodie bag. Accommodation and transport to and from Johannesburg are not included.
Final accommodation is allocated according to availability within your selected package category.
