Lefa Mokonoto is a multidisciplinary visual artist and designer from Klerksdorp, now based in Cape Town, South Africa.
As a self-taught artist with no formal art education, she began painting in 2021, navigating an industry where she felt there was no place for her, yet determined to carve out space for her voice. Her work is a deeply personal exploration of identity, memory, and trauma—an ongoing journey of self-discovery and reinvention.
