Fynn Wilson, also known as FAYE, is an artist from Cape Town, South Africa. He has degrees in psychology, Film and Fine Art, and is currently in independent practice in his home city. Fynn Wilson’s work explores themes of mental health, gender, politics and identity.
His work is largely expressionistic, occurring in response to something felt, observed or seen.
Fynn works with multiple mediums, often at once, in the creation of his works. He combines digital and analogue photographic technologies while making, contextualising his work within the digital era, while serving as a conceptual and practical tool that serves to materialise his experiences of dissociation.
