Ntwanano Shilubana (b. 1999), better known as Nano Le Face, is a self-taught visual artist based in Pretoria.
He studied Film Arts at Open Window Institute (Pretoria) and AFDA (Johannesburg) before committing entirely to fine art. Through Post-Pop drawings, he employs humour and satire to critique our obsession with consumerism, fame and self-image — fascinated by the glamour and melodrama of celebrity pop culture set against the self-deprecating nature of social media. His practice began during the COVID-19 pandemic, first gaining traction on Instagram before attracting collectors and art-world attention.
